I’m Paula Neves — Brazilian-born, Los Angeles-based photographer. My roots in Brazil taught me to see beauty in contrasts: the stories that unfold between light and shadow, in the small moments that carry big emotions.

My work lives at the intersection of editorial elegance and raw, cinematic truth. I’m drawn to the emotions behind every glance, the honesty in every wrinkle and sigh. Whether through bold composition or subtle softness, I strive to bring out the genuine self in each portrait I take.

Sometimes, I step back from digital precision to shoot with analog 35mm film. It’s in those grainy moments and organic imperfections that I rediscover texture, patience, and timelessness
